How to see how much data is in Business bank statements
- Sign in to online banking for each business account
- Open Statements and note the earliest month available
- Count accounts and years of statements
- Count any paper statements on file by year
Record number of accounts and years of statements; most banks only show 7 years online.
How to get a copy of your Business bank statements data
- Sign in to online banking as an account owner
- Open Statements or Account activity
- Download each month's statement as PDF
- Export transaction history as CSV for the same period
- Ask the bank in writing for older statements
Account owners can usually download statements as PDF, and transaction history as CSV or QuickBooks files, from the bank's online banking under Statements or Account activity.
Online banking often shows only a limited number of years, so ask the bank for older statements, which may cost a fee.
These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
