Data guides
Coda: see how much data you have, then export it.
Pick a system to see two things: how to check how much data is in it, and how to export a copy. No form, no sign-in.

How to see how much data is in Coda
- Open the doc in Coda
- Click the three-dot menu at the top right → Doc settings
- Select Statistics
- Note the Doc size and the counts of pages and tables
Record doc size for each important doc; attachments are not included in doc size, and Coda shows no workspace-wide total.
How to get a copy of your Coda data
- Open Account Settings
- Scroll to Advanced Settings and expand it
- Click Export My Data
- Save the .txt and .csv files
Each doc owner can go to Account Settings → Advanced Settings → Export My Data, which creates .txt and .csv files for every doc they own. Single tables can also be saved with Download as CSV.
The export only covers docs you own, so other people's docs need their own export (Enterprise org admins have extra API options).
These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
