How to see how much data is in Copper

  1. Sign in to Copper
  2. Open each list: People, Companies, Leads and Opportunities
  3. Clear all filters so every record shows
  4. Note the number of records each list reports (select all if needed)

Copper has no storage page; record the record counts for each list, and note that emails and files often stay in Google Workspace.

How to get a copy of your Copper data

  1. Sign in as an admin
  2. Click your profile (upper left), then Workspace Settings
  3. Choose Export Data under Manage Your Data
  4. Click the Export button for each record type (People, Companies, Opportunities, etc.)
  5. Download the .xlsx file from the emailed link

Admins can go to Profile → Workspace Settings → Export Data (under Manage Your Data) and export each record type. Copper emails a link to an Excel (.xlsx) file.

Activities are not part of the self-service export, so ask Copper Support for a one-time activity export. Other users need the Data Export permission.

Copper’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
