Discord: see how much data you have, then export it.
Pick a system to see two things: how to check how much data is in it, and how to export a copy. No form, no sign-in.

How to see how much data is in Discord
- Open your server in the Discord desktop app
- Go to Server Settings → Members to see how many members there are
- Use the search bar with a filter such as in: a channel, or has: file
- Note the result count Discord shows for each search
Discord shows no storage or total message count for a server; record member count, number of channels and approximate message or file counts from search.

How to get a copy of your Discord data
- Click the cogwheel to open User Settings
- Select the Data & Privacy tab
- Under Request your data, click Request Data
- Choose the data you want and click Request My Data
- Download the ZIP from the email link within 30 days
Each member requests their own data in User Settings → Data & Privacy → Request your data → Request Data. Discord emails a link to a ZIP of JSON files.
The data package covers one person's account, not a whole server, and it can take up to 30 days to arrive.
These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
