How to see how much data is in DocuSign

  1. Sign in to DocuSign eSignature as an administrator
  2. Open the Reports tab
  3. Choose Usage → Account Activity Report
  4. Set the date range to cover the account's whole history and run it
  5. Note the Envelopes Sent figure

DocuSign shows no storage size; record the number of envelopes sent, which counts voided and declined envelopes too.

How to get a copy of your DocuSign data

  1. Pick a bulk tool for a full archive: Docusign Retrieve, Docusign Connect or Box
  2. For a CSV list, go to Agreements
  3. Tick the documents you want
  4. Open the menu next to Resend and select Export as CSV

For a full archive, Docusign points to tools such as Docusign Retrieve, Docusign Connect or a one-time bulk download to Box. For a CSV list, go to Agreements, tick the documents and choose Export as CSV.

There is no one-click download of every signed PDF in the web app. Bulk archives need one of these tools, and Rooms documents must be downloaded manually.

DocuSign’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
