Data guides
Gong: see how much data you have, then export it.
Pick a system to see two things: how to check how much data is in it, and how to export a copy. No form, no sign-in.

How to see how much data is in Gong
- Sign in to Gong with access to all company calls
- Go to Conversations → Search
- Clear all filters
- Note the total number of calls in the chart at the top
- For per-person counts, run the Utilization report as an admin
Gong shows no storage figure; record the number of recorded calls, and search each workspace separately if you have more than one.
How to get a copy of your Gong data
- Go to Conversations → Search
- Apply filters for the calls you want
- Click the More actions icon above the results
- Choose Download call data and pick data categories
- Click Send report via email and download the CSV
Users with the Export reports to CSV permission can go to Conversations → Search, filter calls, and use More actions → Download call data. A CSV with one row per call is emailed.
The CSV holds call details and a link to each call, not the recordings themselves. Recordings must be downloaded separately.
These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
