How to get a copy of your Intercom data
- Sign in with export permissions
- Go to Reports → Dataset export
- Choose the dataset and date range
- Pick the columns and preview
- Click Export CSV
Users with Can export CSV permission can go to Reports → Dataset export, pick a dataset and date range, and click Export CSV. Full conversation text can be exported as text or PDF from the Inbox (up to a few hundred at a time) or in bulk through the API or an Amazon S3 export.
CSV dataset exports contain reporting data only, not the message text. Browser downloads are capped at 10,000 rows, and bigger files are emailed.
These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
