How to see how much data is in Procore

  1. Sign in to Procore as a company admin
  2. Count your active and closed projects in the company Portfolio
  3. In a project's Documents tool, select a file and click the Info icon to see its Size
  4. For a true total, check the size of the .zip from the Project Archive tool

Procore offers unlimited storage and shows no account-wide total, so record the project count and, for a few typical projects, the project archive size.

Procore’s official instructions

How to get a copy of your Procore data

  1. Sign in with permission on the project
  2. Open the project-level Project Archive tool
  3. Click Create and choose the tools and items to include
  4. Click Archive and wait for the email
  5. Click the download icon to save the .zip

Users with the right permission open the project-level Project Archive tool, click Create, choose the tools, and download the .zip file when the email arrives. Windows users can also use the Procore Extracts app.

Archives can only be downloaded for 30 days and only for active projects, so export each project before marking it inactive.

Procore’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
