How to see how much data is in Sage Intacct

  1. Sign in to Sage Intacct as an admin
  2. Go to Company → Admin → Usage metrics → Usage insights
  3. Review the Overview, Customers and Vendors tabs for active customer and vendor counts and bill volumes
  4. Note the counts and how many years of transactions you hold

Sage Intacct does not show storage used in GB; record customer, vendor and transaction counts (subscriptions include 0.5 TB for attachments and other data).

How to get a copy of your Sage Intacct data

  1. Sign in as an administrator
  2. Go to Company → Setup → Data Delivery Service
  3. Select the objects (data types) you need
  4. Choose all records or only changes since the last export, or set a schedule
  5. Collect the CSV files from your configured cloud storage

Admins can bulk-export records to CSV files with Data Delivery Service (Company → Setup → Data Delivery Service), which posts the files to a cloud storage location you configure. For smaller pulls, run a report or list and choose an export format such as CSV or Excel.

Data Delivery Service sends files to cloud storage that must be set up first, not to your computer. Enhanced list exports are capped at a set number of rows at a time.

Sage Intacct’s official export instructions

These instructions are written by DataFrenzy from each vendor’s public help pages. Menu names can vary by plan and change over time; the official link on each guide is the final word. Screenshots come from each vendor’s own help pages and videos or, where noted, from third-party tutorials credited under the image; dashed outlines are illustrations, not screenshots. Looking up a size or preparing an export never sends anything to DataFrenzy.
