This policy explains what information UNIDENTIFIED STARTUP LLC, doing business as DataFrenzy (“DataFrenzy,” “we,” “us”) collects through datafrenzy.ai and related forms, and how we use and share it. DataFrenzy is a brokerage that helps businesses explore licensing their operational data to qualified buyers.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you request a private assessment, complete our data inventory, apply to be a referral partner, or contact us, we collect what you enter: for example your name, company, job title, work email, phone number, website, and information about your business and its data systems (such as which systems you use, approximate data sizes, date ranges, and whether data can be exported).
- No dataset uploads. Our website forms do not accept uploads of your customer records or business datasets, and we ask you not to include confidential records in any form.
- Technical information. Our servers record basic request information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting. When you arrive through a partner’s referral link, we record the visit using a one-way hashed identifier rather than your raw IP address.
- Cookies and browser storage. We use a referral cookie (up to 30 days) to credit the partner who referred you, sign-in cookies for partner and administrator accounts, and your browser’s storage to keep form drafts while you work. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries, prepare preliminary estimates and assessments, and evaluate whether your data may be licensable.
- To contact you about your inquiry or an opportunity, and to manage our relationship with you in our customer records.
- To credit and communicate with the referral partner or broker who introduced you.
- To operate, secure, and improve our website and services, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
- Service providers that host and operate our website, databases, customer records, and email on our behalf, under obligations to protect the information.
- Prospective data buyers and partners. When you ask us to explore an opportunity, we may share business information about your company and its data (for example, a summary of your data inventory) and, where needed to move the opportunity forward, your business contact details. We do not share customer records, because our forms do not collect them.
- The partner who referred you may be told your first name and company so they know the referral was received.
- Legal and business reasons: if required by law or legal process, to protect our rights or others’ safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money and do not use it for advertising.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including our business records and legal obligations, and then delete or anonymize it.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us at

Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, such as encrypted connections, access controls, and hashed sign-in codes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
